Is hypnosis safe for our guests?
Absolutely. Stage hypnosis is a performance art that has been practiced professionally for over a century. Participation is always voluntary, content is appropriate for a mixed-age crowd, and no guest is ever made to feel uncomfortable.
What if guests don’t want to participate?
Watching is half the fun. No guest is ever pressured to volunteer, and volunteers come forward naturally from the audience. The guests who stay in their seats get just as many laughs watching the people on stage.
How long is the show?
Most casino and resort shows run 60 to 75 minutes. Shorter formats are available if your showroom schedule is tight. Tell us your timing and we’ll make it work.
What does the performer need from us?
A stage or raised platform, a microphone and sound system, chairs for volunteers, and good lighting. Our artists coordinate directly with your venue’s sound and AV team and arrive at least one hour before doors open, so everything is ready before your guests walk in.
How far in advance should we book?
Many venues book 4 to 6 months ahead to secure their preferred dates and performers, and many rebook the same act year after year. If you have a date or a favorite act in mind, reach out sooner rather than later.
Are your performers insured?
Yes — every performer on the Wand Enterprises roster carries full insurance. That’s non-negotiable for us. Your venue is fully protected, and you’ll never have to chase us for paperwork.
How many volunteers are needed on stage?
Most of our performers request 30 chairs on stage — a golden rule established by our founder Jim Wand and carried on by the performers he trained. Your performer will plan the stage setup with your venue before the show so everything is ready.

Comedy hypnosis is our most popular showroom act, and our roster also includes magicians, illusionists, mentalists, comedians, and tribute and music acts. Casino and resort entertainment has to do two jobs at once: fill the showroom and keep guests on the property afterwards. A room that empties straight into the parking lot is a booking that did not work, which is why we match the act to the crowd rather than simply filling a date.

Casino and resort entertainment buyers usually need flexibility more than anything else. We handle multi-night runs, split sets, early and late shows, and last-minute replacements when a headliner cancels.
